Reiki Attunements


Tera Mai Master Teachers throughout the World or in the UK

Reiki Attunements are passed from a Reiki Master Teacher to his/her students.

An attunement is a ceremony, the student sits in a chair,
and is often taken on a guided meditation.
The master then blows symbols and colours into their hands,
and sometimes into other chakras or energy points on the body of the student.

The attunement creates the healer,
Yet it does not actually give the receiver anything new,
It opens and aligns what is already part of them.
What they have always had within them at a soul level.
Reiki heals them and allows them to heal others,
safely and without depleting their energy.
Receivers of an attunement experience as many different things as there are students,
some perceive colours, others see pictures.
Some are filled with light or a feeling of total peace, wonder and love.
Others can be very excited
as they experience the healing energy running through them for the first time.

After the attunement, old emotions, unhealed former situations,
past lives and negative mental patterns, resurface to be fully healed at last.
The person may feel spacey or tingly, have intense dreams
or experience detoxification symptoms.
These can include diarrhoea, runny nose, cold symptoms and dehydration headaches.
This can be more pronounced in the first month and continue after that
as the healer releases physical and emotional blockages.
Drinking plenty of water and doing healing on yourself and others
helps the negativity to disperse quickly.

I don't want to put you off by saying this, personally I had very few of these symptoms
and they were mild and lasted for only a few days at a time.
I look upon the ability to clear and heal ourselves in this way
as an added bonus of each attunement.
A few days ago I overheard one of my students
discussing her freind's lack of symtoms during clearing.
'A shame you didn't have more' she said.
For her it was a missed opportunity for her friend to de-toxify her body and mind.
With this attitude, the changes in energy flow easily, strenthening the new Reiki Healer.

For me it meant that my back and kidney problems left me,
I can fly now, my mind , body and soul purpose is more clear,
Reiki has given me inner peace
