Many of the mind/body/spirit shows now being held around the world will include stands run by healers. Some may be an opportunity to meet healers in your area and ask questions. Others may offer a few minutes of healing to allow you to experience their healing energy. This environment is a little too noisy to be ideal for anyone to focus or sense what is happening, but it is still a good place for making first contacts.

There are many Reiki share groups running where Reiki healers can get together, give healing to each other, and send healing out to others as a group. These are usually open to all Reiki healers and are not constrained by lineage.

Some of these groups allow members of the public to come and join them, either for healing during the first half hour or hour or for the whole of the sharing evening. This is a very good way of experiencing healing and having a deeper understanding of what is involved during and after training.

Spiritual healing is usually offered at spiritual churches, the sessions are usually weekly and in this way can offer the quiet atmosphere ideal for healing.
