About Wendy
I began my emotional healing training when studying councelling at Vaughan College in Leicester. Like many people going to study this subject, I was drawn there by a wish to understand more about others, and a need to understand myself and my reactions to my past experiences. 
As I learnt about emotional healing I gained more understanding of other people’s and my own reactions to stress, loss and trauma in their lives. By allowing my clients to explore their past I began to help them to release anger and resentment. Giving them more control over their own lives and helping them to begin to look forward, towards a brighter future. I also realised that I am linked to those around me and yet separate and can now support others on their journey without the need to rescue them.

Two of my favorite things for making emotional changes are still 'Inner Child Work' (John Bradshaw 'Homecoming') and the 'Gratitude Journal' More lately I find the 'Conversations With God, books are a bit heavy going but seem to make deep changes within. I also like the book 'Self Matters' by Phillip C. McGraw.

Anyway back to Reiki.....My own first experience of Reiki and Seichem was at a talk being given by a healer. When I felt the heat from the healer’s hands I was impressed, when she went on to offer healing to several more people without tiring herself I was absolutely fascinated. I wanted to be able to offer healing to people around me and went on to be initiated into Reiki and Seichem. I later realised that the energy I was channeling helped to heal the mind (emotional), body (physical) and spirit (a part of us we seem to lose in our material world). I also discovered how much these three aspects intermingle and affect each other. In order to help others around me offer the same gift to themselves and those in pain in their lives I became a ‘Master’ or teacher of these healing disciplines and am now able to offer attunements to others. It has been a wonderful honor and pleasure to have such an opportunity.  I find that every course I run we all learn from each other and I meet such wonderful and different people from all over the world.
